Christy Cooper, Au.D. joined the California Ear Institute’s Santa Rosa office and Hearing Device Center in 2007 as Manager of Audiology. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia and a Doctor of Audiology degree from Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland. Her clinical skills and expertise were acknowledged by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), which conferred her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). Dr. Cooper is state licensed in Audiology by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board and by the California Hearing Aid Dispenser’s Bureau. She is a Fellow member of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA).
Dr. Cooper has extensive training and experience in diagnostic Audiology and balance disorders. Her clinical background includes performing electrophysiologic evaluations and vestibular assessments and rehabilitation at the Eisenhower Balance Institute in Rancho Mirage, CA. While in Rancho Mirage, she also trained extensively with state-of-the-art hearing aid technologies at the Hearing Institute of the Desert. Her experiences encompass only the best in hearing health care, hearing aid evaluations, and comprehensive pre-and-post hearing aid fitting services.
