Audiologist

The California Ear Institute and Global Hearing Inc, northern California’s premier center devoted to hearing health care, is seeking a committed individual to join a team of world-class surgeons and audiologists in its Palo Alto headquarters.  This 32 hour a week position offers rewarding opportunities to clinicians with strong interest in the full range of diagnostic audiology, cochlear implant mapping and hearing rehabilitation/dispensing.

Position includes:

  • 32 hours per week
  • Approximately 50% of your time will be in cochlear implant evaluation and mapping for adult and pediatric populations.
  • Approximately 50% of your time will be in diagnostic audiology for adults and pediatrics.
    • diagnostics includes: comprehensive audiometric evaluations, VNG, ABR (both retrocochlear and threshold estimating), ENOG and computer dynamic posturography. 
  • Hearing device dispensing may also be included.
  • Supervision of 4th year Audiology externship students.
  • Compensation is based on experience and is highly competitive, with an excellent benefits package.

Applicant must have:

  • Au.D. or Master’s degree in audiology.
  • Current California Dispensing Audiologist license in good standing.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology.
  •  2+ years experience in diagnostic audiology and cochlear implant mapping of both adult and pediatrics.
