Surgical Procedure

A tympanostomy tube (link) is placed in the eardrum in clinic. The Meniette Device is used 3-5 times per day with the tympanostomy tube in place. The device creates a gentle pulse of pressure that is transmitted to the inner ear. In selected patients, the vertigo and some associated symptoms of Meniere’s Disease may be eliminated.
