Indications for Surgery
Dizziness, Tinnitus, Facial Spasm, or other symptom from compression of a cranial nerve by a blood vessel in the space between the brain and the base of the skull.

Surgical Procedure
A Middle Fossa or Suboccipital Approach is used to approach the nerve-vessel interface. The vessel is elevated from the nerve and a fine Teflon piece (similar to a cotton ball), is placed between the nerve and the vessel.
